Your Privacy Matters
AgeEcho is designed with privacy as a core principle. Your photos and family data stay on your devices and in your personal iCloud account. We never see, collect, or store your personal information.
Photo Library Access
AgeEcho requests access to your photo library to:
- Display photos and videos from previous years in Daily Memories
- Find photos matching specific dates for Age Compare
- Show location information for your memories
All photo processing happens entirely on your device. Your photos are never uploaded to any server.
Family Data
When you add family members to AgeEcho, this information (names and birthdays) is:
- Stored locally on your device
- Synced through your personal iCloud account to your other devices
- Never transmitted to us or any third party
iCloud Sync
AgeEcho uses Apple's CloudKit to sync your family profiles across your devices. This data is stored in your private iCloud container, protected by your Apple ID. We cannot access this data.
Data We Don't Collect
AgeEcho does not collect:
- Your photos or videos
- Personal information
- Usage analytics
- Location data
- Device identifiers
No Third-Party Sharing
We do not share any data with third parties because we don't collect any data in the first place.
Children's Privacy
AgeEcho does not knowingly collect any personal information from children. All data remains on the device or in the user's personal iCloud account.
