Your Privacy Matters
CouchQueue is designed to help a household manage a shared TV watch list. Your household data is stored on your devices and synced with Apple's iCloud services. We do not sell your data and we do not use it for advertising or tracking.
Information You Add to CouchQueue
CouchQueue stores the shows, streaming services, season progress, watched-by choices, household display names, and related planner details that you enter or select in the app.
This information is used only to provide the app's core functionality: showing your shared planner, syncing changes across devices, and helping your household decide what to watch.
Sign in with Apple
CouchQueue uses Sign in with Apple so the app can identify the current app user and associate that user with a household profile. The app may store your Apple user identifier, display name, and authentication token on your device. If you choose a household display name, that name may be visible to members of your shared household.
iCloud Sync and Sharing
CouchQueue uses Apple's CloudKit and Core Data with iCloud to sync your household planner across your devices and with household members you invite. Shared household data is stored in iCloud under Apple's CloudKit infrastructure and is controlled by the iCloud accounts participating in the share.
We do not operate a separate database for your household planner data.
Show Search and Artwork
When you search for a show or load show details, CouchQueue contacts The Movie Database (TMDB) to find show metadata, artwork, seasons, and streaming-provider information. Search terms and show identifiers may be sent to TMDB to complete those requests.
TMDB is a third-party service. Its handling of requests is governed by its own policies.
AI Features
CouchQueue may include optional AI-assisted features in future releases, such as helping choose a show or checking show status. When those features are used, selected show details needed to answer the request may be sent to CouchQueue's app service and to an AI provider. These features are used to provide the requested app functionality and are not used for advertising or tracking.
Data We Do Not Collect
CouchQueue does not collect or use data for third-party advertising, ad measurement, or cross-app tracking.

- We do not include third-party advertising SDKs.
- We do not use third-party analytics SDKs.
Apple TV
The Apple TV version of CouchQueue reads the same iCloud-synced household planner for the signed-in iCloud account. It is intended for viewing and updating existing planner items from Apple TV.
Data Deletion
You can remove shows, archive shows, leave a shared household, or delete the app from your devices. Household data synced through iCloud can also be managed through your iCloud account and the devices participating in the share.
